Hi,

When we create a symbolic map for a map which has a named field 'ID', 2 variables IDC and IDH are added in the output section of the symbolic map.
Can you please explain the use of these variables?

If you refer to the CICS Application Programming Guide you will find the information there. Section 6.3.4 tells you WHAT the character stand for. this may be all you require but if you need more then further reading will infrom you. A quick link to the manuals is at the top the page.
