RECURSE EQU TCASAVEA,4

could someone tell me what's the value of RECURSE? thanks in advance!
'RECURSE EQU TCASAVEA' or 'RECURSE EQU 4' ?

The Assembler listing tells you the value of RECURSE. It's right there in cyan and black in your post. The EQU Assembler instruction is discussed in "HLASM V1R6 Language Ref." Read it yourself!

I cannot guess why the programmer defined the RECURSE symbol.
