I have planned to join automation testing course which is of worth 20,000, I want to know whether it is useful or not???

20,000 what? GBP, USD, JPY, THB, ...? Who knows if it is value for money? For some it might be, for others not.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.
