What do you need to know? It seems like a clear message to me even though I've never seen it before.

Nothing to do with forum FAQ - moved to a more appropriate section.
The problem I have is that people can explain things quickly but I can only comprehend slowly.

ask Your support!
since the message You posted does not contain a STANDARD message identifier (*)
it might have been issued by a user exit/program.
(*) unless You consider the badly formatted
*.SLS2402E
a message identifier
if it were so You should research SLS2402E ( even google for it )
cheers
enrico
When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

It's been 15 or 20 years, but here goes. The message goes with an automated tape library - I can't recall the name of the vendor or its proper name. It's telling you it is critically low on "scratch" tape volumes. The daily maintenance that lets the library know the latest scratch list either has not been run, possibly ran after the message appeared, or possibly the scratch list ran low because of some heavy demand. There should be some procedure in place to add "scratch" volumes.

Following Enrico's suggestion of googling for SLS2402E the first hit (for me) revealed all that is needed to know - including extra info like the current owner of the software.
