Hi,
I'm unable to invoke OpenMVS UNIX SHELL (OMVS), getting below information...
No session was started. This TSO/E user ID is in a group that has no defined GID.+
Function = sigprocmask, return value = FFFFFFFF, return code = 0000009C, reason
code = 0B0C00FD
***
Can anyone please help?

The message looks quite clear. The group that your user ID belongs to does not have a Group ID assigned.
Speak to your Security Admin guys.

They added a GID to your user id (through RACF if that is what your site uses).

Technically, they defined a GID for the group that your RACF user id belongs to (or maybe they set your user id up for automatic assignment -- we don't really know for sure what they did), but the net effect is that your user id now has a UID and a GID -- which you have to have to sign onto OMVS.
