How much CPU time and cost is required to transfer a file of size 5 GB from one mainframe environment to another.File can be flat or vsam.

Hello Sonali and welcome to the forums,

You would have to ask someone in your organization about how cost is calculated for that system.

CPU time for a file transfer is usually quite low. I'd suggest you run a test and measure the cpu time needed. How much cpu time will depend on the speed of your processor and if any compression/decompression is involved.
