im new with mainframe and id like to start new application for monitor mainframe status like cics,ims,majnodes,online drives and ... .
i like to know about where i can start .
which programing language , any link address for a pdf or ....
anybody can help me

There are existing tools to do this -- so you are not wanting to do anything new.

The techniques to develop such monitors should NOT even be considered by someone "new with mainframes" as these techniques require advanced knowledge of IBM mainframes.

So until you have 20 years or so of IBM system programming experience, and have learned all about the ASCB, JFCB, and all the other z/OS control blocks, give up on your idea of developing a new monitoring tool.
