We are in the process of evaluating moving from a 7740 virtual tape environment,to a 7720 environment.
Have heard some stories that other implementations have had many struggles. I am reaching out to everyone (anyone)
that has gone through this conversion, for any input, or information they could provide.
Much appreciated ahead of time.

Doesn't look like anyone has the experience you are looking for.

Suggest you speak with IBM as they would have the most info available.

I know I can talk to IBM, but was really hoping to gather information outside of IBM.
We are evaluating going from IBM 7740 to IBM 7720 or EMC dLM tape less solution.
This is why the post in the first place. Again thanks for responding.
