Dear All,

I was able to download the hercules to my pc but I just get a message like below :



I am unable to find a installation document which explains about IPLing the hercules and other acitivities related to Hercules.

Could anyone please guide me .

I suggest to download a more recent <version> from the snapshots provided here

Jaggz, Hercules is an EMULATOR. That means no operating system is provided, hence asking about "IPLing the hercules" (sic) is completely and totally impossible. You cannot IPL Hercules, you IPL an operating system -- which Hercules does not include. Once Hercules has an operating system, and you've set up the load parameter correctly in the Hercules configuration file, you start Hercules then issue Hercules command IPL xxxx (where xxxx is the unit address for the appropriate pack).
