Generic Key retrieval in IDMS

Hi,
I have a idms record, consisting of many entries say ( cont no, log no,address1,address2) which is in VIA mode.
i have to retrieve a record using generic / partial key. I mean if the record demands to have cont no and log no for retrieval using sort key.
How do i retrieve a record where i have only the cont no and not the log no.

I tried moving LOW-VALUES to log no and tried to retrieve but was unsuccessful

I tried using SPACES to.

What do i do....
