DEDB VSO option

Hello,

I am curious to know one information to just understand we have an environment where there is no SYSPLEX and we are on single sysplex(Single image). Is it possible to implement VSO(virtual storage option) in a single IMAGE with no connections with other LPAR or Other IMS subsystems.
