Talk to your site support group.

Many z/OS systems run a batch job scheduler such as TWS or CA-7 or ZEKE. However, it is NOT mandatory for a site to purchase and install such a package. Only by asking someone working at your site can you find out whether or not such a scheduler is in use at your site. Your site support group can also tell you the command to retrieve the data you want, since the commands vary from job scheduling package to job scheduling package.

This is completely impossible to understand. Follow up on Mr. Sample's suggestion. In order to do what you appeared to describe in your initial post there must be an agent to do the scheduling. Mr. Sample lists several of the most commonly used agents for IBM mainframe systems. We cannot possibly know which agent is in use at your site.

Which translates to: I'm illegally using an ADCD distribution on Hercules as no beginner would ever be granted IBMUSER access.

Start RTFMs, all 800 or so.

If Mr. Prins' theory is correct - and I must concur with it - there is no scheduling software on the system unless Mr. Salmabadi replaces JES2 with JES3 - possible, though probably beyond Mr. Salmabadi's skill set - and uses the scheduling capabilities in JES3.

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

And you post in a forum for newbies?

I'd be very careful if I were you, someone might decide to sue you for causing jaw-dislocation due to excessive laughter...
